Fun Run
Winning logo design for the 32nd annual John J. Eikenberg Fun Run event (March 11, 2017). The event is hosted by the Houston Bar Association and benefits The Center. The logo was featured on all marketing and promotional materials, social media sites, with the designer's name announced at the event. Working 8 weeks closely with the client, process sketches were produced along with rough drafts of logo versions. One of the biggest challenges in creating the logo was making sure to include a provided graphic of three stick-figure runners in the design, so placement, colors and effective visual communication were all considered. The Fun Run event takes place every year and benefits The Center which is a local non-profit organization that seeks to empower individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to live meaningful, dignified lives filled with opportunity.
